Sharon McKiever – R.Ph.
We decided to think outside the box with Sharon and went for someone with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas! Sharon has been a practicing pharmacist for 29 years and has been with our Butt Drugs family for 18 years of that. Sharon loves the strong sense of community here at Butt Drugs, where we know most of our customers by their first names. Having that small town pace is what has allowed Sharon to have her “regular” customers that she enjoys visiting with! She likes being able to educate those customers about their mediations & illnesses as well as helping them find solutions to many of their healthcare problems. And last but not least, Sharon loves working with her co-workers who make the day fun and interesting. Butt Drugs is like her home away from home! Outside of work, you will find Sharon spending time with her three children and husband. They enjoy boating, swimming, exercising, and traveling.
John Keith Sullivan – Pharmacist
His real name may be John, but we all love and know him as Keith! He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1981 with a degree in hand, ready to change the world. After working in many chain stores, Keith decided to make the switch and began working for our sister store, Hanger Drugs, over 7 years ago. Unable to resist the charm that is Butt Drugs, Keith has also worked here for the past 3 years helping one customer at a time to achieve their health and well-being goals - not quite the world but close.
Keith enjoys working at Hanger & Butt Drugs because of the atmosphere that comes with our family owned pharmacies. He can focus more on the customer rather than forms to fill out and bottom lines to keep track of. And the cherry on top for Keith is that he gets to work everyday with our wonderful pharmacy staff! When Keith is nowhere to be found at either of the stores, he is probably enjoying UK Basketball, watching Sportsdrome Car Racing, reading, or going to the gym.
Michelle Riggs - Pharmacist
Michelle has known since she was a little girl that she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a pharmacist. Upon graduating from Purdue University in 1992, she had achieved her goal. For the past 22 years, she has not only enjoyed being a pharmacist, but also the feeling of helping her patients with personalized treatments for their specific medical issues. We have been lucky to have Michelle at our sister pharmacy, Hanger Drugs, for over 5 years and for the past year she has also worked here at Butt Drugs. She says the best thing about working here is being part of an independent “family” setting where we are more concerned about the care and needs of our patients than the bottom line. When Michelle isn’t at either pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with her family and children, volunteering at her children’s school, golfing, and even teaching a Kindergarten class at Northside Christian Church!
Felicia Hoehn – PharmD
Felicia is the newest addition to our Butt Drugs family! After coming into Butt Drugs for most of her life as a customer, Felicia couldn’t imagine a better place to be a pharmacist. So, she graduated from Purdue in 2014 and joined us shortly after in July. Felicia loves her career because of the opportunity it provides for her to help others manage and improve their health. Everyday she goes home feeling like she made a positive difference in at least one person’s life. It takes a variety of providers in the healthcare field to achieve the ultimate goal of wellness and Felicia is honored to a part of that team in our community.
Felicia enjoys working at Butt Drugs because of the personalized and friendly atmosphere that allows her to carry out her work as if she was helping her own family. She finds it wonderful that her co-workers genuinely care as much as she does about the customers’ well-being, rather than focusing numbers and business like many chain pharmacies do. Felicia values being able to get to know her customers and forming trusting relationships.
Outside of work she enjoys exercising, reading, party planning/crafting, and spending time with her family. In addition, she is an active member of St. Joseph Church in Corydon and enjoys participating in events and activities there. Felicia is excited about starting a family with her husband and they hope to have lots of children in their future!
